Meet Kaija Ozola
As an executive English communication coach, I work one-to-one with business leaders and professionals across Europe, online worldwide. Every engagement is built around one goal: to ensure that your English communicates your expertise, experience, and authority as precisely as it does in your own language. Communicating with authority, precision, and impact in English develops through focused, one-to-one work built entirely around your professional situation and goals.
Why I Do This
What I bring to this work is a specific combination: native English, professional communication experience across international business, negotiations, and diplomacy with the ability to link language directly to the communication skills that impact how you are perceived and heard. That combination is what every client I work with needs: a business leader preparing for a critical presentation, a leadership team developing their communication in English, or a professional who wants their English at the level their expertise demands.
Background
Originally from the United States, I have spent the majority of my life in Europe and am a native speaker of both English and Latvian. My professional experience spans the private, public and non-profit sectors. Most recently, as Head of Content and Communications for a global industrial technology company operating across 27 countries, I developed communication strategies for professional audiences across Europe and internationally, coaching leaders on presenting at international events, and moderating high-level events and conferences. Earlier in my career I represented Latvia in international negotiations with the Council of Europe, the United Nations, NATO, and the OSCE, and consulted for the UN in Geneva, Switzerland and the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France. The common denominator across all of it has been communication. Throughout my professional life I have worked with people communicating in languages that were not their own. I have seen capable, experienced professionals appear less able than they are, simply because the language was not reflecting their ability.
The outcome is confidence. Confidence in communicating in English, in the situations that matter to you
